About Brooklyn USCE :
Brooklyn USCE was founded by Dr. Ratesh Khillan in 2017. Dr. Khillan is a board certified Hematology-oncologist and chief at KingsBrook Jewish Medical center. He is affiliated with Methodist, Suny Downstate, Interfaith and Kings Brook Jewish Hospital. Dr. Khillan being an IMG, he knows the struggles and hurdles faced by Foreign medical graduates. His aim is to make rotations affordable to all IMG’s and to guide and help them in the path to residency in the United States.
For Foreign Medical Graduates, having U.S. based clinical experience is crucial to securing a United States Residency training position. If you wish to train at a US based, ACGME accredited institution, you should begin your preparation by learning more about the rigors and challenges of medicine in the U.S. The only way to do that is by rotations and observerships in U.S. based clinical sites, where preceptors can help you adjust to the differences that residency program directors will expect you to be able to navigate.
