TELE-MEDICINE ROTATION

General Internal Medicine 3 Telemedicine Program:

Applicants will be using platforms like Microsoft Teams/Zoom, etc. for the Tele-rotation and can be accessed from any part of the world. All applicants must protect the patient’s health information to maintain HIPAA compliance.

Rotation Details:

  • Applicants will get a chance to participate in the rotation through Telemedicine conducted in an Outpatient clinic setting.
  • Location: California
  • All rotating applicants will be given an orientation before the rotation.
  • Applicants will be given access to the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) under the supervision of the attending.
  • This will help the applicants develop their questioning skills with minimal-handed information.
  • Every patient encounter will be followed by presenting the case to the attending and discussing the patient's management.
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 am to 05:00 pm PDT (Pacific Daylight Time).
    *Please note: Timings may vary based on patient appointments.
  • The Attending (Doctor) is affiliated with Riverside Community Hospital. The hospital has an Internal Medicine Residency Program.
  • Letters of recommendation will be issued based on the merit of the individual.
  • Letters of recommendation will be issued on Private Clinic's Letterhead mentioning the Doctor's affiliation with the Hospital.

Requirements/Expectations from the applicant:

  • Access to high-speed internet and devices like laptops/tablets/phones for using software apps like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Availability during regular office hours (Pacific Daylight Time/California Time).
  • Professional dress code and appearance.
  • Quiet workspace at a remote location with no background disturbance.

  • Valid Passport.
  • Proof of being in medical school / medical school graduation certificate
  • USMLE STEP scores (if given)
  • HIPAA Certificate
  • Infection Control Certificate
  • Recent photo
