PATHOLOGY
TELE-MEDICINE ROTATION (PTM1)
Pathology Telemedicine Program:
Applicants will be using platforms like Google meet/Zoom, etc. for the Tele-rotation and can be accessed from any part of the world. All applicants must protect the patient’s health information to maintain HIPAA compliance.
Rotation Details:
- Applicants will get a chance to participate in the rotation through Telemedicine conducted in Cooper Medical School of Rowan.
- All rotating applicants will be given an orientation before the rotation.
- This will help the medical students/graduates in developing their questioning skills with minimal handed information.
- Areas of focus include a wide variety of cases in Leukemias, Anemias, Bleeding disorders, Lymphomas, etc.

Office hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 pm to 12:00 am Eastern Time (New York Time).
*Please note: Timings may vary based on patient appointments. - The Attending (doctor) is affiliated with Cooper Medical School of Rowan, New Jersey and Genome Rx US, Philadelphia.
- Letters of recommendation will be issued based on the merit of the individual.
- Letters of recommendation will be issued on Genome Rx US letterhead.
Requirements/Expectations from the student:
- Access to high-speed internet and devices like laptops/tablets/phones for using software apps like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Availability during regular office hours. (Eastern Time/New York Time).
- Professional dress code and appearance.
- Quiet workspace at the remote location with no background disturbance.

- Proof of being in medical school / medical school graduation certificate
- USMLE STEP scores (if given)
- HIPAA Certificate
- Infection Control Certificate
- Recent photo
