PATHOLOGY
TELE-MEDICINE ROTATION (PTM2)
Pathology Telemedicine Program:
Applicants will be using platforms like Microsoft Teams/Zoom, etc. for the Tele-rotation and can be accessed from any part of the world. All applicants must protect the patient’s health information to maintain HIPAA compliance.
Rotation Details:
- Applicants will get a chance to participate in the rotation through Telemedicine conducted in an Outpatient clinic setting.
- Location: New York
- All rotating applicants will be given an orientation before the rotation.
- Areas of focus will be Hematopathology.
- Participate in daily didactics and once a week present pathology related presentations.

Office hours:
Monday to Thursday - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm ET (New York Time).
*Please note: Timings may vary based on the Attending’s schedule. - The Attending (doctor) is a clinical affiliate of Mount Sinai Hospital, NewYork - Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and Brooklyn One Health.
- Letters of recommendation will be issued based on the merit of the individual.
- Letters of recommendation will be issued on Hospital letterhead.
Requirements/Expectations from the applicant:
- Access to high-speed internet and devices like laptops/tablets/phones for using software apps like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Availability during regular office hours. (Eastern Time/New York Time).
- Professional dress code and appearance.
- Quiet workspace at the remote location with no background disturbance.

- Proof of being in medical school / medical school graduation certificate
- USMLE STEP scores (if given)
- HIPAA Certificate
- Infection Control Certificate
- Recent photo
