1About these Terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and Brooklyn USCE 1, LLC (“Brooklyn USCE”, “we”, “us”) for the MatchMind AI service on brooklynusce.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the MatchMind AI Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. For the Service, these Terms apply where they differ from the website’s general terms and conditions.

2Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and preparing for interviews yourself. Give accurate information and keep it up to date. One account per person; do not share yours. The Service works on a laptop or desktop computer with a microphone and a current version of Chrome, Edge or Safari. It does not support phones or tablets.

3What the Service is, and what it is not

  • Practice only. AI interviewers play fictional people. They are not real faculty, residents or program staff, and they never name a real program. Program details they mention are summaries we prepared and may be incomplete or out of date.
  • AI feedback can be wrong. Scores, bands, rewritten answers and drills are produced by AI and can contain mistakes. Use your own judgment.
  • No predictions or guarantees. Feedback describes your practice at our stations only. It does not predict interview invitations, rankings, offers or Match results, and we do not guarantee any outcome.
  • Not affiliated. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NRMP, ERAS, the AAMC, ECFMG, the ACGME, the USMLE program (FSMB and NBME) or any residency program. We use their names only to describe the application process. All names are trademarks of their owners.
  • Not professional advice. The Service does not give immigration, legal, medical or career-placement advice. Visa questions in a practice interview are practice only; for advice about your own situation, talk to a qualified immigration attorney.
  • Not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com, or contact your local emergency number. If you tell an interviewer you are in crisis or thinking about suicide or self-harm, the interview stops; the Privacy Policy explains what happens next.

4Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@brooklyncancercare.org if you think someone else has used it.

5Credits, prices and payment

  • One credit is one interview station of up to 15 minutes. A full interview day is 3 stations.
  • Some packs also include ethics credits, as the buy page shows. The optional ethics station can be started only with an ethics credit, and an ethics credit pays for no other station. Everything in these Terms about credits also applies to ethics credits.
  • Packs and prices are shown on the buy page in US dollars and include all fees. A later price change does not affect credits you already bought.
  • Square processes payments on its own checkout page, under Square’s terms. We never receive your full card number.
  • Credits appear in your account once Square confirms your payment, usually within a minute, and normally within 15 minutes.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for money.
  • Credits can be used until 9:00 pm Eastern Time on March 3, 2027, the rank order list deadline for the 2027 Main Residency Match. Unused credits expire at that moment and are not refunded. The buy page and your dashboard show this date, and we stop selling credits at that moment.

6All sales final

All purchases are final and non-refundable, including unused credits, except where the law requires otherwise and except as stated here. The buy page says so next to every Buy button.

  • A credit comes back automatically when a station cannot start or fails for a technical reason on our side or our providers’; when a call ends in under 60 seconds (up to twice a week); or when an interview is stopped for safety.
  • If a payment is refunded or reversed (for example, by a chargeback), we remove the credits from that purchase, even if your balance goes below zero, and we may pause your account while we look into it.
  • If we permanently stop offering the Service, unused credits are not refunded.

7Recordings and AI processing

Every station is recorded and transcribed. Before each station you tick a box to agree to this, and the interviewer also says so at the start. By using the Service, you agree that we and our service providers may record your practice interviews and process your recordings, transcripts, profile and application details to run your interviews and give you feedback, as the Privacy Policy describes. You can replay a recording for 14 days. Recordings and feedback are for your personal use.

8Your responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • upload another person’s application or personal information without their permission;
  • describe real patients in a way that could identify them: leave out names, dates, record numbers and rare details;
  • share your account or resell access to the Service;
  • copy or extract the Service’s questions, interviewer instructions or feedback in bulk, or use the Service to build or train a competing product or AI model;
  • try to break, overload or get around the Service’s security or limits;
  • harass anyone or break any law while using the Service.

9Your content and ours

Yours. You keep ownership of your answers, recordings and application information. You allow us to use them only to provide the Service to you (including review by a coach assigned to you), to keep the Service secure, and as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Ours. The Service, including its questions, interviewer characters, scoring rubric, feedback format and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use the Service and your feedback for your own interview preparation.

10Coaches and staff

If we assign you a coach, that coach can see your profile, interview transcripts, recordings and feedback, and can leave notes on your feedback pages. Coaches are members of our staff, and each has signed a written confidentiality agreement. Our administrators can see your account information to run the Service and to help you.

11Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of the Service. We try to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted service; interviews also depend on your device, browser and internet connection. If we change these Terms in an important way, the app shows you the new Terms and asks you to agree before you continue.

12Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time with “Delete my account” at the bottom of your profile page. Deleting it removes your information as the Privacy Policy describes; unused credits are lost and not refunded. We may pause or close your account if you break these Terms. If we close your account when you have not broken these Terms, we refund what you paid for your unused credits.

13Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

14Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, positions or earnings. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

15Governing law and disputes

New York law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@brooklyncancercare.org so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute about these Terms or the Service will be decided only by the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
